Select a shape or a connector.

Type in the text.

Select a blank area on the drawing page.

Select a shape or connector.

Select Home > Text.

Make your changes.

Rotate text in a shape or connector

Select a shape or connector.

Select Home > Text Block.

Drag the rotation handle to the left or to the right.

Select Home > Pointer Tool.

Select Insert > Text Box.

Select either Draw Horizontal Text Box or Vertical Text Box.

Select the place on the drawing page where you want to add the text.

Type in the text.

Select a blank area of the drawing page.
Move text in a shape or on a connector

Select the shape or connector that contains the text.

Select Home > Text Block.

Drag the text to a new location.
Change the look of text in a shape, connector, or text box

Select the shape, connector, or text box.

Select Home > Font or Home > Paragraph, and select options:

Font Size makes the text larger or smaller.

Bold makes the text strong.
-
Font Color changes the color of the text.
-
Align Center centers the text on the object.
